Hi there, I'm Finlay East

I am a Civil Engineer come Carpenter.

I was practically born with a hammer in hand. I am self taught with skills passed down the generations. 

I have a huge passion for the trade. I love the endless opportunities working with wood can bring.

As an engineer, I love a challenge. So I enjoy stretching my abilities to make unique furniture

Why Huckleberry?

Huckleberry or "Jamma Jamma" is a plant found in Cameroon, in which through the Meal-a-day (a charity my Grandfather co-founded) I spent most of my childhood eating. Also, for the older ones.. Huckleberry Finn... life is an adventure. Hence, growing up I was often referred to as Huckleberry.
